Where it works
Edwards's 1809 tree peony is a wide plate, one huge double bloom in blush and salmon pink with dark green leaves, set on cream with a typeset label. Hung at 16×24 in natural wood, it fills the wall above a bed or a sofa with blush, grey or sage paint.
