What these are
Every poster here is original Studio Madten artwork composed in the visual language of the 1920s and 30s — the sunburst, the stepped skyline, the gilded silhouette — not a reproduction of any historical poster. Grounds come in deep midnight, emerald, oxblood and champagne schemes with metallic-gold linework, and the type is set in period-correct geometric faces.
Where they work
Art Deco art wants a little drama: the home bar and the drinks trolley wall, a dining room, a study, a hallway that needs one confident piece. The cocktail chart is the natural centrepiece above a bar cart; the travel and music posters hang well in pairs. Deep-toned walls — navy, green, burgundy — make the gold glow.
