Eustachi, Parker and the anatomical tradition
Bartolomeo Eustachi's copper plates were engraved in the 1550s but lay unprinted until 1714, when they appeared in Rome as the Tabulae anatomicae and were recognised as the equal of Vesalius. Their figures stand on numbered grids used to reference each structure. We also restore nineteenth-century lithographed teaching plates of the skeleton, muscles and circulation.
Hanging anatomy
These are studies for a study: a home office, a library wall or a consulting room. The full-figure plates are upright and read best at 16×24 or larger, hung singly or as a pair.
