Where it works
Bairei's white-throated bird, beak open, perched low among soft green leaves and clusters of dark blue berries, a landscape woodblock set on cream with a caption. Gentle and leafy, it suits a bathroom or bedside wall on white or pale green paint at 12×18 in natural wood, with his Snipe Among Reeds.
