Where it works

Mary Daisy Arnold's 1912 Stuart Bigarreau from Geneva, New York, shows two scarlet cherries beneath a single grey-green leaf, with a halved fruit on a long stem below. The quiet study suits a bathroom or bedroom at 12×18 in natural wood, beside the George Glass.

Size. We'd hang this one at 12×18. Prints at 12×18, 16×24 in — 12×18 for a shelf, desk or a gallery-wall grid; 16×24 above a desk, console or in a hallway.

Framing. A slim black or natural wood frame right to the plate edge; the plate's own margin frames the subject. Also available gallery-wrapped on canvas, ready to hang with no frame.

Pairing. Pairs as a set of three with other kitchen prints (10% off three or more).
