America's lost fruit, painted from life. Between 1886 and 1942 the USDA commissioned thousands of watercolors of heirloom apples, pears, plums, grapes and stone fruit — many of these varieties now gone. Restored from the originals and offered two ways: full-bleed, the whole watercolor edge-to-edge; or as a framed specimen on a deep forest ground with its variety name, botanical name and the artist who painted it. Printed museum-quality on heavyweight matte paper — made for the kitchen wall.
