Where it works
Two quadrangular passion flowers, blue-and-white fringed coronas over pink petals, climb a fluted brown column among big green leaves in Thornton's plate, blue sky behind. Blue, pink and green suit a living room with navy, blush or sage walls at 16×24 in natural wood, beside his Winged Passion-Flower.
