Where it works
Audubon's greater yellowlegs, two gray-speckled waders — one preening, one feeding — on a mudflat before a pale marsh with distant trees, a landscape plate on cream. Soft and open, it suits a bathroom or hallway on sage or sand walls at 16×24 in natural wood, with his Pigmy Curlew.
