The white-columned house of Florence Griswold in Old Lyme, Connecticut, home of the Old Lyme art colony, glows in blue-green moonlight among spring trees, with a woman in white crossing the lawn. Metcalf painted it in 1906; it won the gold medal at the Corcoran Gallery's exhibition in 1907 and the Corcoran bought it. It is now in the National Gallery of Art, Washington.
This exhibition-poster edition shows the whole work beneath original typography set in-house. The original is in the public domain.
