A young woman in a red bodice, white cap and blue skirt dances by the sea while a white Pierrot holds up a hand mirror behind her. Jules Chéret designed the poster for Le Miroir, a pantomime by René Maizeroy with music by Desormes that opened at the Folies-Bergère in February 1892. Printed by Chaix; the impression reproduced is in the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
This exhibition-poster edition shows the whole work beneath original typography set in-house. The original is in the public domain.
