A young woman in white lies on a sofa at the far end of a large, almost empty room, half in shadow, while light falls through green shutters onto the polished floor. Tarbell left most of the canvas to the bare floor, an unusual and daring composition. It is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This print reproduces the whole work, uncropped, from a high-resolution scan of the original. The original is in the public domain.

Framing. The gallery ground is part of the print, so frame it without a mat — dark wood flatters the lighter palette; black sharpens it.
Pairing. Pairs as a set of three with other famous painting prints (10% off three or more).
