Two men sit in a blue boat on a still lake in the Adirondacks, one fishing, among reeds and a stand of trees under a cloudy sky. Homer went to the North Woods Club in the Adirondack mountains of New York many times from 1889, and his watercolours of its guides, hunters and lakes are among his finest. This one is in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
This exhibition-poster edition shows the whole work beneath original typography set in-house. The original is in the public domain.
