Paintings in the Van Gogh Museum

The paintings Van Gogh's family kept, reproduced from public-domain scans.

4 prints · printed to order on heavyweight matte paper · framed or unframed

The collection

The Van Gogh Museum opened on the Museumplein in 1973 to house the collection that stayed in the family after the painter's death: some 200 paintings and 500 drawings passed from his brother Theo to Theo's widow Johanna and their son Vincent Willem, who gave them to the state. It is the largest Van Gogh collection anywhere.

The works here

Almond Blossom, painted in 1890 for the birth of his nephew; The Bedroom, the first version of 1888; Wheatfield with Crows; and the Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat.
