A white porcelain vase with faint painted decoration stands against a deep rust-red ground, holding a loose bouquet of orange and yellow daisies, red and pale pink poppies, white clusters and dark blue spikes. The paint is thin enough to show the weave of the canvas, and the signature sits at lower left. Redon painted it in oil around 1912–14, in the last years of his life, when flower pieces were his main subject and his greatest commercial success. The Metropolitan Museum bought it in 1964 with the Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ittleson Jr. Purchase Fund.
This print reproduces the whole work, uncropped, from a high-resolution scan of the original. The original is in the public domain.

Framing. The gallery ground is part of the print, so frame it without a mat — black suits the deep tones of this period; dark wood warms it.
